Have you ever found yourself wanting to express your true feelings about a subject or voice your opinion in a group?
Do you sometimes feel like an echo rather than a voice in social situations? Does peer pressure make it difficult for you to discuss taboo topics? Do you feel the need to conform?
Lindsay offers thoughtfully selected guests a platform to discuss real, genuine topics. She opens up conversations on women’s health, diversity, mental health, relationships, self-care, and more!
Hey,
It's been 10 months since my last episode - oops! I've been dealing with diaphragm issues, I took time off work to rebuild my strength, recovering from physical burnout, and planning my seventh surgery.
I celebrated a special birthday in July 2023, enjoying a few weeks of respite and sunshine. However, life took an unexpected turn in the Autumn.
In this solo ramblings episode, I update you on my recovery and rehabilitation journey since my June 2023 episode. I'll share insights on my diaphragmatic repair, the worsening peri-menopause symptoms from the previous year, an A&E visit and the events that unfolded since then.
In this episode, I discuss:
-
My peri-menopause journey
-
Hormone test results from July
-
A&E & hospital admission
-
My pelvic MRI
-
Meeting a new consultant
-
Undergoing another major surgery (number 7)
Quote of the episode: "Old keys won't open new doors."
For more details about my conditions and surgeries, check out my blog at LBH Lifestyle Blog.
Please remember, I am not a medical professional. The views and experiences I share are my own. Always consult a healthcare provider for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment options.
