Day 13 – Recovery (2)

To do 💟 Therapy session 💟 Doctor – Time off and tablets 💟 Nurse 💟 Hygienist

Journal Today I woke up early as couldn’t sleep last night I got one hours sleep. I went to get my nails done to cheer me up as they keep breaking.

My therapist came to see me at home and we had a good session. She said she thinks I have PTSD following the 3 traumas. That’s why I’m so busy and staying organised and not sleeping 😦

I went to doctors and have been signed off until end of August. I also had stitches removed and the wound is a bit red and I have cream and a pressure dressing to wear. I then went to hygienist and got my teeth cleaned.

I got home and was absolutely shattered. When NBH came home I went to bed and slept a little. We went for a nice walk to get some fresh air.

Day 20 – Recovery (2)

To do 💟 Read Endo book 5 pages 💟 Consultant visit 💟 Speak to Nationwide 💟 Complete Budgeting Journal I went to see the consultant this morning and had an X-ray. He was happy with my X-ray and explained there was a lot of inflammation and scar tissue which could be causing pain when stretching, breathing deeply and yawning. He will give the other surgeon the go ahead for my pelvic endometriosis surgery on the 23rd July 2018.

I popped into my friends on the way back to see her and her new baby and we had a lovely catch up. I got home to have my conversation with Nationwide about the mortgage repayment holiday and I broke down into tears. It just all got a bit too much. I have to fill out an expenditure form and send it back so it won’t be ready for this month 😦 It's been tough not working for so long and not being paid for the last couple of months.

Bentley was a bit of a handful this afternoon! Nick came home and I had a yummy Vegan pizza 🍕 a nice long bath with Epsom salts, a candle and music. Then went to bed at 7:30pm and fell asleep until 10pm! Ha ha missed the England match and everything! Ha ha

Completed tasks 💟 Read Endo book 3 pages 💟 Consultant visit 💟 Spoke to Nationwide 💟 Send niece gifts 💟 Bought some food and lunch 💟 Read some of my WH magazine To do this week 💟 Put picture up in hall 💟 Walk 💟 Complete Budgeting 💟 Nails and toenails

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Thanks so much for taking time out to read my story. I share my story and my journey on Instagram to build awareness about Chronic Illness and endometriosis.

Diagnosis of thoracic endometriosis has been a life changing experience with very little information out there.

Building a community of people who share their own experiences has made a huge difference to me and to others dealing with similar symptoms.

The idea was to support others on their path to diagnosis and treatment with shared experience.

Look after yourself!
