Pre op for pelvic endo surgery #3

6th July 2018

Day 22 – Recovery (2)

To do 💟 Read Endo book 3 pages 💟 Complete Budgeting 💟 Pre op 💟 Walk

Journal Today I woke up early had cuddles with Bentley and my breakfast. I’m really enjoying breakfast at the moment! Sad but true! The simple things!

I went to my pre op assessment and asked lots of questions. They struggled to take blood which was weird as usually they find it easy with me. She talked a lot the nurse!Lol she is from a town close to where my Nan is from in Ireland.

I nipped to Waitrose on the way back and bought some lunch and some goodies for my gathering before my surgery.

I got home and was so shattered. I put Bentley to bed and then came up and watched a couple of movies on Netflix. I couldn’t sleep and kept getting hot and cold. It must be the withdrawal from the medication. I am trying to be medication free before my next surgery and so I can enjoy the odd drink at my birthday gathering.

I asked my surgeon some questions about scars and I’ll have three scars plus umbilical scar in my belly button. Eugh the thought of that scares me!

NBH came home and I had dinner ready then he took Bentley for a walk.

Completed tasks 💟 Read Endo book 3 pages 💟 Pre op Additional tasks 💟 Rest 💟 Watched two movies To do this week 💟 Put picture up in hall Stats: SPIROBALL: 3000 ml EXERCISES: x 0 WALKING: 0.66 miles

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Thanks so much for taking time out to read my story. I share my story and my journey on Instagram to build awareness about Chronic Illness and endometriosis.

Diagnosis of thoracic endometriosis has been a life changing experience with very little information out there.

Building a community of people who share their own experiences has made a huge difference to me and to others dealing with similar symptoms.

The idea was to support others on their path to diagnosis and treatment with shared experience.

Look after yourself!
