Pelvic Endometriosis - First Consultation

Day 42 – Recovery

I woke up early again as I had my specialist appointment booked in for 10:30am at a local hospital.

NBH and I got ready and drove to the hospital. The specialist was really knowledgeable and instilled faith in me. He explained about endometriosis and the treatments we could use but wants to do an internal scan first to see what we are dealing with.

I was happy after seeing him and was worried I’d be upset. NBH and I popped to the nearest town to do a spot of shopping and to have Brunch at All Bar One which was lovely.

I haven’t been taking any pain relief since last Thursday just the odd paracetamol and Naproxen but I’m in a lot of pain. It’s good to be in control and know what the pain is and when i'm overdoing it, but exhausting. We went to my mums to see my niece who was visiting for the day and had a lovely afternoon/evening. My sister came back from her day out and I spent a couple of hours with her.

Then headed home a very tired girl to get ready for my busy day tomorrow. I need a relaxed day soon!
