A new addition to the family

5th June 2018

Day 64 – Recovery

Today we both woke up really excited to collect Bentley.

We took a trip to Pet’s at home to buy Bentley a crate bed, a coat and harness and some toys to play with including tennis balls 🎾

We then headed to the cemetery to tidy up my grandads plot they were just mowing the grass so it looks much much better. We cut down the weeds and the rose bush and put down a new heart for him. We then went to pick up some chips from the fish and chip shop and some mushy peas and brought them to Nan’s for lunch. She looked really well and was dressed well and seemed in good spirits (my nan has dementia). NBH cut back some of her plant as he has the height.

We left my Nan’s to go and pick up Bentley he was so cute. The breeders are lovely people too and his wife cried which was sad. We set off on our journey home and NBH stayed in the back with Bentley. Bentley spent some time getting used to his new home having a sniff around and playing with NBH. It was fun trying to get him to potty train. What a welcome addition to the family he is hard work but so lovely!

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Thanks so much for taking time out to read my story. I share my story and my journey on Instagram to build awareness about Chronic Illness and endometriosis.

Diagnosis of thoracic endometriosis has been a life changing experience with very little information out there.

Building a community of people who share their own experiences has made a huge difference to me and to others dealing with similar symptoms.

The idea was to support others on their path to diagnosis and treatment with shared experience.

Look after yourself!
